Adventure Activities

Start your day off with a full day, half day or multi day whitewater river rafting trip on the mighty Vaal River in the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site.  Try our Bombardier designed Quad Bike outrides or a Guided Quad Game Drive on a private game farm.  Visit the Cheetah Breeding Project and climb to the top of the Vredefort Koppies to watch the sun set while enjoying a sundowner and interactive drumming with fire dancers.

We offer daily excursions for Rafting, Abseiling, Paintball and Archery from our head office in Parys, Free State.  Come in to see us, were only 100km south of Johannesburg -perfect for that weekend get away.  Contact us to check for space!

Our diverse range activities are suitable for any age group.  Adventurous kids from ages 5 and up are invited to participate in all of our activities. 

Evening entertainment can also be arranged on request. We’ll treat and entertain you with a fire show, some interactive drumming or for the wild at heart, some fun bar games.

How do we achieve this?

Teambuilding activities allowing the element of fun are useful in developing interrelations. In developing interrelations we tend to focus our energy towards activities that allow group members to assess one another's talents, strengths and weaknesses in a productive and positive manner.

Each activity offered by Dome bookings have been carefully conceptualized and tried and tested to achieve the maximum potential possible. Whether it be teamwork, communication, idea generation or presentation, all while still having the time of your life.

Some of our activities include:

Mini Survivor Challenge
With this challenge the group will work through a number of fun filled activities that is based on the popular Survivor television show.  Each team will receive a compass and map, by orienteering, the team will need to complete a number of activities.

Mini Adventure Race
This challenge is designed for the more competitive team building groups as it is set up as a race against other teams.  This challenge involves more adventurous activities where the team must really motivate team members to compete for maximum points.  Each team will receive a map and compass and need to orienteer from activity to activity. 

Quad Cheetah Challenge
This challenge incorporates fun filled activities set up in such a way that the teams rotate around to the various activities, and end the day on a high note by visiting the Cheetah Breeding Project where the groups can interact with the cheetahs, this is very popular amongst corporate groups.

Quad Team Challenge
Groups will get to work closely next to each other and need to trust and communicate throughout the whole challenge in order to execute and earn maximum points. 

Meteorite Mind Games
Here is an activity selection put together for groups that do not want to do too much physical activities and/or groups that want challenges that can be executed indoors. 

Boatanatics
This is an exciting challenge which the group can combine with our popular rafting stretch.  Whilst on the river the group needs to execute a number of different activities as quickly but carefully as possible. 

Treasure Island
This challenge will be combined with our river rafting, the groups will receive a map and compass and need to orienteer with the boats from one island to another where they need to execute activities set up on the island. 

Mini Camel Trophy
The group will need to complete a number of activities as quickly and efficiently as possible to score maximum points and they have to work together.

The Amazing Dome Challenge
With this challenge the teams must complete a number of activities as fast as they can to move on to the next challenge and to earn maximum points for their team, at some stages the team will get a detour where they can choose between different challenges.

Triple Target Challenge
A fun way to get your team to work together, no matter how many male or female in the groups.
